Who we are

What we keep, and why

Your email address, whether and when you confirmed it, when you gave it, and which version of this notice you agreed to. We use it only to tell you about Fylgja, because you asked us to (your consent, GDPR article 6(1)(a)). The list holds nothing else: no name, no IP address, no device or browser details. We don’t sell or share your address.

To stop abuse, the server counts the requests from each network address for up to an hour. It keeps each count under a keyed hash of the address, not the address itself, apart from the list, and deletes it after the hour. We do this in our legitimate interest in keeping the form safe (article 6(1)(f)).

Where

Amazon Web Services (AWS) stores the list in Stockholm, Sweden, and Sweego sends the emails from France, each as our processor under its data processing terms. If an email bounces because your address doesn’t exist, Sweego won’t email it again for 90 days.

How long

Until you remove your address, with the link in any email we send or by writing to us, and at the latest 12 months after Fylgja launches. If you don’t confirm it, we delete it after 7 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time: the link in any email we send takes your address off the list, or write to us. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Norway that is Datatilsynet.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other sites.
